An outstanding part of Cornwall, where time runs slowly

Beach View luxury holiday homes and bungalows are situated in a magnificent position and have uninterrupted and breathtaking views over Porth Joke, a true Cornish gem, which is just a short walk across Cubert Common.

Owned by the National Trust, Cubert Common has been classified in nature convervation terms as having Historical Landscape Value and as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). A great deal of wildlife can be seen, as well as some very rare plants.

The Common consists of approximately 600 acres of completely unspoiled countryside, undulating grassland with small pockets of sand dunes which extend out to Kelsey Head, from which one can survey some of the most dramatic scenery on Cornwall’s North Coast. Porth Joke Cove is situated between Crantock Beach and Holywell Bay, and it is a beautiful and secluded location with bathing and surfing. There are inland fresh water lakes and rivers for fishing, and direct access to the South West Coast Path.

The villages of Cubert and Crantock are closeby with Post Office, Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, Pubs and Churches. The holiday resort of Newquay is approximately 15 minutes by car from Beach View and offers a wide range of shopping facilities to suit all ages. Fishing trips, Rail Station, Zoo and Leisure Gardens, Sealife Centre, Night Clubs, Restaurants, Golf, Swimming Pools and excellent coastal walks are amongst the choices. Holywell Bay Golf is only a 10 minute walk away and offers two 18-hole courses with something for all levels. There’s no dress code, no booking required and club hire is included in the price.

The lack of light pollution means you will have a very clear view of the night sky, and in the morning will awake to bird song, fresh Atlantic Cornish air, no passing traffic, and magnificent views. All only 4 to 5 hours from England’s capital by car. Newquay Airport is 20 minutes away with flights to many UK and European destinations.

We are open from May to September.

Welcome to Paradise !
